I have dont a search but had no real joy, Just bought a Vr6 and the biting point is very low, does this shout out to you that the clutch is on its last legs, or is there a way to adjust the hydraulics.Thanks for your help. Nerih 0 Posted December 12, 2004 Report Share Posted December 12, 2004 i think the vr6 has a self adjusting hydraulic clutch, so i dont think its adjustable, i know on my mk2 it was adjustable, but thats not really helpful...sorry.but, HIGH bite points are usually the sign of a worn clutch, increasing engine speed and no increase in road speed (usually when ur floor it in 5th gear its noticible) .My vr6 has quite a low bite point, but i think its normal, my mk2 used to bite near the top, and got through two clutches in 1 year[ Edited Sun Dec 12 2004, 11:53PM ] Link to post Share on other sites
