MarksMintness 0
Hi guys,I just wondered if replacing the front brake discs and pads on a 94 Golf VR6 is something you could attempt yourself with some basic mechanical skills?I have access to axle stands and a trolley jack, but is this a harder job best left to a mechanic? I am thinking of the hydraulics/ABS system etc... I am just replacing the brakes with standard stuff.Let me know what you think, I would be interested if you anyone has done the job themselves before!Mark
VR6Nat 9
Easy mate, propa straightforward.I did mine myself and not only am i a girl but im only 5ft.... ( i must admit i did have help getting one disc off as it was propa stuck on there) But if you have basic mechanical skills you'll be fine... :)
