oil gunked hall sender/crank position sensor.

Recommended Posts

hi, just cleaned the sensor, it wasnt totally gunked in oil but it did have some dry oil marks and oil on it,

cleaned it off re-assembled and took it for a spin, BLOOOODYYYY HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL it was soooo fast and responsive, if i give a bit in first until 200 revs then just pound it the car just takes off!!!

i aint had a good clear run yet but seems to have done the trick, might replace it when i can financially reason it,

many thanks!!!!! well worth the hassle!!!

ONE QUESTION:

i know there is a rubber seal (ring) at the top of the cylinder, where is the plastic ring supposed to be located on the sensor? is that just after the rubber seal or ....??

if i wernt careful enough when taking it out, it would have slipped off and dropped in to the engine,
