mightyvr6 0
I believe the bolt pattern on OBD 1 AND OBD 2 throttlebodies are different. In other words if you bought an obd1 vgi for your car, it wouldn't bolt to the neck of the vgi as the holes wouldn't line up.
Eat this 2
would that mean getting an obd1 throttle body??
mightyvr6 0
Don't think you can swap them as the obd 2 has an electrical fly by wire throttle and different idle stabilizing system whilst the obd 1 has an old fashioned throttle cable and external idle stabilizer valve. Two totally different systems. It would be easier to buy an obd 2 vgi.
acf8181 0
the top part of the schrick is detachable (the bit that goes onto the TB), so you can get a new one of those to fit a different obd...but they cost about £170.i think thats the only difference, but ask pete to confirm this.
