CALICO 130
i lost a 3rd of my horse power through transmission lossso i would say somewhere near 280-300bhp
Eat this 2
nowhere near that mate its more like 18-20 % which makes it around 225 hp
swaper 0
I think u are right mate ! Last dynosheet gave me 220.6 @ 5400 rpm. This time i have "fuel" up to 6400 +. but too rich , to achieve better reading.( ratio 11.94 @ 6400 )
CALICO 130
Nowhere near what it was dynod at the rr day 12/09 it may be because its an auto 197bhp129.9@wheels
Eat this 2
yeah autoboxes are a bitch you cant get a reliable reading from them
FishWick 21
Your normally lose about 40hp through the VR6 drivetrain. And Drivetrain includes brakes, tyres, driveshafts, gear oil etc etc.Remember the "flywheel" figure is calculated from coast down losses, so is open to some creative number making. All dynos measure KW at the wheels, so take that reading and ignore the flywheel one.
swaper 0
I also think that u are right . No matter the way, i think that the values are too low, consindering that i am using a stage II VF S/C .. Now i am thinking how to overcome the rich mixture. I think that readings of 11.34 - 11.94 ( 0.75-0,75 Lambda) means too rich mixture , and consequently loss of power. What is yr opinion ?
Eat this 2
low power + rich fuelling + vortech suggests belt slip to me mate have you got a boost gauge?
swaper 0
According the 2 last measurments : 7.4 & 7.6 PSI of boost ... ( which is normal for stage II kit )
swaper 0
I am thinking of going to the next step : Garrett GT30R ...

[/quote']Stage 2, so 8psi yeah?In that case yes 11.3 to 12 AF is too rich. I would run it at 12.5 AF.For best power, boost fuelling should be the leanest you can go without getting detonation or excessively high EGTs.
swaper 0
Is there any kind of equipment available, to adjust the AF mixture ? Now, i am waiting for the Dutch guy to tell me if he can provide me a new eprom or not ...
swaper 0
By the way, the AF 12.5 is reached from 2460 to 2900 rpm !! hahahahaha ....
Eat this 2
can you post your torque graph (not the hp just the torque) mate?
FishWick 21
By the way' date=' the AF 12.5 is reached from 2460 to 2900 rpm !! hahahahaha ....[/quote']12.5 @ 2460!!The stage 2 S/C doesn't start making boost until 3800rpm! Mind you, it depends on the air flow the Mass Air meter is seeing, but that's too rich for such low load. You need a decent remap. Are you using the GIAC chip ?
