wasting scammers' time...

Recommended Posts

I had a laptop for sale on ebay and got an email from a Nigerian saying he wanted 5 of them & was going to pay me by 'Western Union' etc - I mailed him back a few times for a laugh to see if I got replies & I did - I just ignored him in the end. He never actually bid on my item though ;)

They are everywhere, I recently sold two cars through Autotrader, and had my email address on there on the first car which was a saxo, with out word of a lie, I must of had arounbd 15 emails from different people. But each one using the same line. @that they or their friend owned a shipping company as they did not live in this country. All wanting bank details as they wanted to buy the car for the full asking price.... Sooo dodgy. And I then sold my Bora. did exactly the same but only about 4 this time. They may consentrate on the smaller value cars thinking they are kids?? don't know.

Got to be careful either way!!
