MarkGolf 6
Hi,I'm looking to buy parts for a VRT I'm building, now, realisitically, are ARP bolts worth it? I've never ever heard of OEM bolts failing but it's said it is good to use ARP's so that you can reuse them, thus making it cheaper in the long run..cheers
CALICO 130
the bolts are designed to stretch so dont fail but when you are running boost they stretch and blow the headgasket arp bolts dont stretch and can be reused unlike oem bolts deffo worth the extra money

FishWick 21
I would want a coolant system pressure sensor if I was running standard headbolts!Standards are OK with low boost, 6-8psi. Any mroe and ARPs are a must.
golfrabbit33 0
just taken my lump apart and the difference between arp and the standard ones is huge, they come out and go back as new. so worth the money. especially if going f/i , cos you WILL be using them more than once.
