julesz 0 Posted November 22, 2004 Report Share Posted November 22, 2004 BUGGER! Attempted to swap my original plates for some Euro plates last night as shortly going abroad. Turned the screw to remove the original, and 'Snap', the head shears completely off. And then the same with the other screw. Now ive got 2 half bits of screw in the holes.... What to do??!! Slim 0 Posted November 22, 2004 Report Share Posted November 22, 2004 Nah, those pads will hold the plates on forever if needed, my mate had to use a hacksaw blade to get one off his bumper. Halfords sell them for £1.20 for a pack of 3 pads, you'd need a pack for each plate. Link to post Share on other sites

Used them on my MK2, and the plates never moved in the 12 months following that i kept it for, and i believe (another 12 months later) they are still on there! Link to post Share on other sites
