Damo 85 0 Posted July 1, 2009 Report Share Posted July 1, 2009 its no surprise they get like that, if you pull that rubber surround off, its open behind the arch so all the years of muck just fly up and sit on the filler neck. i spent about an hour pickin it all out when i noticed,,, bloody daft. edit :Just spoke to the dealers and this is not a part available seperately. Has to be ordered as a whole new tank ......So looks like the cheaper option is to try and nick the filler pipe off a scrapyard job...... unless my local dealer is being a bit of a muppet but they are usually pretty good.....
