jeffers96 0 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 As the title suggests the box on my '95 VR6 has decided that it wants to hold onto the gears for a bit longer, like it is permanently stuck in sport mode. It's more of an annoyance that anything as the box is shifting ok and will move into top when on a motorway without issue.Has anybody else experienced anything similar or can anyone help?!...CheersPhill Link to post Share on other sites

jeffers96 0 Posted May 11, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 11, 2009 Took the car to an Auto 'box specialist in Luton on Friday and he diagnosed the car with a faulty speed sensor (could also be a broken wire or faulty gearbox ECU), which is good news as it means that it's not terminal!
