shane 0 Posted April 10, 2009 Report Share Posted April 10, 2009 Ok lads here is my 03 V6 Bora picked it up last jan 08 and have made a few changes to it since,it was originally a UK car.Spec when i got it.OEM XenonsBlack recaro leather interior (heated mmmm)Climate controlCruise control Koni coiloversRear window and rear passenger windows tinted.17" long beach AlloysAnd all the usual high line bells and whistles.What i changed straight awayR32 steering wheel (from my old golf)BBS RCs 18x8 ones not the anni ones (also from my old golf)Full R32 alu trimR line gear knob Front and back colour coded VW badges (sprayed myself as these cant be bought for the bora)Stubby aerialHeadlight protectors (since replaced with Lamin-X film)Here are a few pics the week i got it.Things i added not long afterFull cat back Milltek thanks to the hard work of RichECS stage 2v2 bakesFull FIS R32 clocks (thinking ahead to supercharger and OEM style Kufatec boost guage) also you can see the A.b and C pillar black trim from GLI,this is a work in progress still to do the headliner.R32 brake pedals and dead pedalMy first magazine feature...kinda in VW driverHow it was starting to look,15mm rear spacers fitted.Notice the Nurburgring sticker in the last pic?At this stage the car was dyno'd at 211bhp but the desire for more power was always there,so last week i hit NS racing to have the VF stage 1 kit i bought from Alex fitted.Well thats it for now all comments and thoughts appreciated. Well i hope.Got the light sorted no problems,turns out the ballast had got a little wet as the weather was really bad when i got home,i removed it and dried it over night indoors and then relocated it to the inner wing with some heavy duty doublesedied tape,been working a treat ever since! I meant to give Raj a shout on it to let him know the story but i've been flat out busy.The car is driving great and i'm well happy with it.Had it on a Dyno last week and got 270bhp,a little down on what i was expecting to be honest,its still a decent figure - what you think?
