Caddymatt1380 0
If you want better fuel economy buy a new car. Unfortunately that is not what they are about.
Phat VR6 3
^^^Its true it will never be great but there is a few things you can do but its vary expensive... Diesel 5th gear lowers motorway cruising rpmhigher final drive?lpg gas conversionRemap for economyand make sure its not over fueling lol
nivag27 5
Not sure a chip would do much for you, but do you get it serviced reg and is that around town (if so good) or on a run (if so bad)
jaminvr6 0
just had to put a new sump on my vento so new oil filter went on went on a mission to get my new wheels from cardiff to newbury run got 37.4mpg i was happy with that
mike 6
id say LPG conversion would be best bet but its not cheap to do, anything else isnt going to do much imoor...strip it out! lol
rodney 17
this is not a reason to do this... but if the car is breathing right, mapped right and you drive it right then these things all help..So induction kit and a QUALITY exhaust will help. If you are all motorways then a slightly larger bore helps. If you are all just around town then look at the number of boxes..call longlife or the like and have a chat. It is not as expensive as you think......Plus you have the best sounding van.... The remap will help ensuring it is set up correctly etc... but dont forget the simple things like good fluids/sparkz/tyre pressures/ etc etc etc all go a long way on this efficiency drive...A final thought.... I gettter MPG now i'm charged on a run. BUT, play with the loud stick and i dont....
Jamesr_VR6 0
I wouldnt advise on a LPG conversion as non of the isntallers have to be registered to work with LPG, im not saying they are stupid or dont know what theya re doing, but you wouldnt let a non corgi registered gas man fit your boiler to save a few pennies would you?
