amazak 3
Alright then, went down to TPS, what a load of bull! Firstly they have the syntha gold so I bought that, secondly the prices are the same as VW Southgate! When I rang up the lad on the phone gave me a price was reluctant to help any further saying if it's not trade then I need to purchase over the counter, and when I got there I guess they gave me non trade prices? So basically paid £27 for 5 litres of syntha gold, they did not have any 1 litre bottles cause they don't stock em, secondly could not help with the oill filter. Got annoyed too k the oil and then shot down to VW Southgate, very helpfull part advisor gave me all the bits I needed and a discount, got the oil filters for the vr and my mk5, 1 litre syntha gold, G12 all ofr £35....so Jonny-Boy no point making the journey to TPS!EDIT: Vw has syntha silver for £21 incl vat. amazak 3
Tight gits wouldnt give me no discount tho :@ LOL, most of them are, just did an oil change on mine today, waether was good so that convinced me to sort it out. imo the syntha gold has made a bi difference, the engine sounds much smoother Maybe I will sort out the plugs next week. Jonnyboy82 0
I was in two minds whether to get the gold or silver to be honest, i got to take a trip back up there next week so maybe i will take it back and swap for the gold? it was only a fiver more per 5 litre.
