Views - Headlights?

Firstly i have the hella mkiv lights, but have seen the angel eyes with a black back to them (instead of the standard chrome all round look) which look nice, and i want to change the indicators/fogs for crystal/smoked (if i can find any) to keep it in line with the angel eyes and smoked effect. Anyone seen these, as i fitted the chrome ones for a mate on sat to his vr6 and they look really good, but his cars silver and mines dark blue so not sure what they would look like on mine.

And one more how many peeps have taken their kits off there vr6's i.e. before 94 ish like the GTI kit, as i am not sure whether to take mine off or not, as most people seem to.

Just borrow the fogs off your mate and see what they look like.

As for the kit, don't worry about what everyone else does. I liked the kit on my car. Have a look at some of the pics on the site and make your mind up from that. bear in mind that on the older cars there could be a bit of rust under there.

Agreed, i've left the kit on mine. I think it gives the car a bit more of an agressive look than the smoothness of the later OBD2 cars.

Has anyone seen the inlet manifold similar to the shrick but half the price? not sure on the power difference but might get the figgures and compare

oh and anyone got a leather interior they dont want? seen a highline yesterday and umm want the seats and cards

What inlet manifold is that then? Sounds interesting.

To be honest i am not sure, i spoke to someone on sat who said it was from AMD or some company name like that, it looks like a golf or rado one bored out a bit more, does not go over the rocker cover like the shrick but only costs about 400 quid! so i am getting some more info on it as if it is similar then im getting that and a remap , plus a milltek exhaust at last, which sounds like sex with Jennifer love-hewitt, whey

You'er probably talking about a better-flowed version of the standard manifold, like the EIP ones you get from the states. It certainly won't be 'like a schrick' as that's a totally different thing.

Tell me about it, thats what i wanted so i might just go and buy a GTI colour concept and nick the interior and sell it as a normal GTI.

the seats are definately better, but colour concept door cards are wank compared to the highline ones

I saw the CC door cards in your old VR on saturday Olly... I quite like them... funnily enough mulberry highlines (well all the ones Ive seen) have the same door cards but black ones dont... weird
