ukdub 0
is it all the time or just from cold. You could have a sticking lifter. Mine has 100k on the clock and it sounds like a bag of nails from cold then its ok when warm. Plan to do the lifters soon.
BenW16 0
Its pretty much all the time but definatly more when its cold and when u start her thats the worst. U say it could be the lifters how long do u rekon they take to change? and how much $$ it gona cost me?
speedo 0
Not to easy to do as you have to take cams out. Timing chains!!! Before you go delving in though, rip the sump off (v. easy) and check oil pick up, make sure it`s not blocked up. Get your oil pressure checked.. It maybe 1 dodgy tapet, but more than 1 may meen oil feed or pressure problems
