vr6 tunning advice

Hi well recently I decided that i was going to sell the vr6 as I use the audi tt all the time but i have decied to put a bit of cash into it over winter, so was looking for some advice on what to do next to it,

Its a OBD2 engine

it has

bmc cda with cold air feed

2.5 exhaust system

de-cat

schimmel 263 camshafts ( getting fitted soon )

what would i be best to do next?? would a 6 branch manifold be worthwhile?

whats the cheapest i could get a supercharger kit for?

If you ring Andy @ Storm Developments on 01189810963 he will do you a good deal on a Rotrex supercharger. I think its around £2200 for the kit maybe less.

yeah thought about that price only got about the £1000 to tune it up with. any other ideas.

yeah think am going to need to. got it rolling roaded yesterday at 192bhp and 192 lb/ft so going to gets cams in then mapped now so hopefully be about 205-210bhp.

i would get cams/oil cooler and a nice exhaust then get it mapped ,but if your thinking of going charger or turbo in a few months..i would not map it until you get bigger bits..mapping is expensive if you keep doing it when you change bits...

you can run cams without mapping it

already got a good exhaust dont think am going to be going turbo/charged think im just going to be keeping it n/a

id say save up fopr a second hand charger, seen them go for 1500ish V9 vortec....

a shrick manifold will make it alot smoother and increaase the torque by about 20, but if your after horses, save up for a charger...
