jonny_gti 0 Posted November 30, 2008 Report Share Posted November 30, 2008 Hi well recently I decided that i was going to sell the vr6 as I use the audi tt all the time but i have decied to put a bit of cash into it over winter, so was looking for some advice on what to do next to it,Its a OBD2 engineit hasbmc cda with cold air feed2.5 exhaust systemde-catschimmel 263 camshafts ( getting fitted soon )what would i be best to do next?? would a 6 branch manifold be worthwhile?whats the cheapest i could get a supercharger kit for?thanks Link to post Share on other sites

Antihero1981 8 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 i would get cams/oil cooler and a nice exhaust then get it mapped ,but if your thinking of going charger or turbo in a few months..i would not map it until you get bigger bits..mapping is expensive if you keep doing it when you change bits...you can run cams without mapping it Link to post Share on other sites

mike 6 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 id say save up fopr a second hand charger, seen them go for 1500ish V9 vortec.... a shrick manifold will make it alot smoother and increaase the torque by about 20, but if your after horses, save up for a charger...
