The Monk 50 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Share Posted November 17, 2008 Drove my VR for the first time today.... :-p However, halfway to my college I pulled into a parking space and couldn't select reverse.......depressed clutch and tried selcting several times but got 1st......(Yes, I pushed down on gearstick as I own another mk3).R-1-3-5--- 2-41ST is in the reverse spot, 5th can only be selected by pushing down across, down and then up.........reverse engaged once while trying but tried once more and 1st again...........any ideas??Mine is like this AtmR1-3-----52-4 Link to post Share on other sites
mike 6 Posted November 17, 2008 Report Share Posted November 17, 2008 erm.. this might not help but when i took my gear box counter weight off to fit the chromed item, i couldnt select reverse, it was put back slightly rong so wasnt clearing teh gear properly... re-adjusted it.... it works nowthat gear might be shot tho....
