lol but he can get that same noise from a mk2 vr6 though. depends what your looking for mate. a mk3 highline has performance aswell as that luxury smooth ride. As they say, vr6 is one of the few cars from the 90's that are just as comfortable doing steady speed of 70mph as it is at 30mph.

Apart from that you obviously get your standard goodies like air con and heated leather.

But on the other hand, if you don't give a monkeys about luxury and just want performance then go for the mk2 vr6. Burt i say upgrade to a highline as i own one ;).

900 quid? Over the odds? ;)

P-reg Mulberry highline, 3dr, tax til February 09, MOT til June 09.

It's know what you know, it's who you know :)

The problem for me now is I'm only 18 and therefore can't get insurance for less than 3k lol.

i had a mk3 gti 16v and i now have a properly done mk2 vr6 ( when its back on the road lol )

bascailly the mk3 will be a very comforable car and will ask everything you want from it. however the mk2 vr is not a refined car its a complety different animal.I love mine to peices it such a mental car lol seems to just take off when you put your foot down and it feels like a much more lighter car . However im sure this is due to mine being done properly and not just chucked in
