Bobtrude 0
Thats some solid numbers:). Cant wait to climb to one bar. Back to the turbo question: does anybody have a dyno of the gt3071r?380lbft is 500 nm, thats the same ass the first mayback i think:) .
FishWick 21
Stealth Racing should have a dyno plot of my 3071R on their computer. I'll get it next time I'm there. GT3582R, see the dyno plot thread.GT3076R, I never dynoed it with that turbo.Be careful of aggressive turbos because they can destroy gearboxes easily. That's one reason why I went GT35 after the GT30s. I doubt my gearbox would have lasted 2 years if I was still using the 3071R.
Bobtrude 0
What about the garrett t04B.Anyone know how much it can deliver? Thats the one im running now, do u think it can deliver 1bar?
VR6Will 0
Like Kev says about the boxes, i've stripped 4th and 5th gears on mine on separate occasions, would have throught the 35 would have been just as bad though!I run a GT3076R
FishWick 21
4th I can understand, but 5th! Blimey! The car usually has enough momentum behind at 5th gear speeds to not strip it, but I guess it's probably at the end of the gearshaft and more susceptible to flexing?I still haven't exceeded a bar of boost in 2 years though, which is another reason the box has lasted I suspect! The 35R is slower to spool than any of the GT30s, so the theory behind that is even more vehicle momentum before the boost hits hard, but it can still be just as manic as the 30Rs in some conditions. MaidenVR6 26
Car had Schimmel 263 cams and a gt30r t3 1.06 and made 450hp @15 psi and 501hp at 20psi with the C2 Stage 2 fuel kit.Stepping up my game, went with a gt37r.http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4208554&page=
