VRmonster 1 Posted October 9, 2004 Report Share Posted October 9, 2004 well if your jacking the car up, its going to be difficult to get them on the jacking points, lol. the subframe is ok, just be careful, and use some foam or something, as they like to bend. lol. and do you mean gearbox, or the floorpan sections tandino? acf8181 0 Posted October 9, 2004 Report Share Posted October 9, 2004 i jack the car up with a trolley jack on the subframe...then put the axle stands in the o.e. jacking points.i can't jack the front of my car up with the boot jack anymore on one side...had a small incident with a very large kerb at donnington (looked small on my side of the car, but wasn't on the other...went off and crunch!).
