scott-mk3 0 Posted August 3, 2008 Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 Hey,so im getting on with the VR6 conversion into my mark 3 colour concept and i had bought a cable clutch conversion kit to save me changing over the pedal box to make it hydraulic.Anyways to day the new clutch cable snapped which came with it but im not sure which cable to buy to replace it.Its an 02A box vr6 standard but is now running cable clutch mechanism.Does anyone know what cable i should be buying?The one that came with the kit was off a mrk 1 or 2 i think but i had to modify it to fit.Happy to do this again if needed but thought there might be a correct cable out there for the mrk 3 to save me modifying the cable connectors to pedal etc.Any help appreciatedScott Link to post Share on other sites
cabrioman 6 Posted August 3, 2008 Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 its easy to make it hyd clutch mate take the small plate off the bulk head where the clutch pedal is and just silde the master cylinder in and run the pipe up to the brake resovor ... ill try get some pics up if u need them !! scott-mk3 0 Posted August 3, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 I would have changed the hydro clutch over and that as iv got the vr donor car just sitting there but i couldnt be bothered with the hastle and i dont mind having a heavy cable clutch.Been used to it from all the golfs iv had so didnt see the point in changing.Cheers for saying though mate Link to post Share on other sites
