Saunders82 0 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 ive always put quantum gold 5w40 in mine as well and recommend it from work quantum silver is fine as well doesnt really matter both are on the quantum spec list for the vr6. Silver is semi syn and gold is a slightly thinner fully. Also if you have one in your area buy from a T.P.S site (trade parts specilist) as its always stuck on trade promotions ie synta silver is always about £12+ and gold £18+ Link to post Share on other sites
