rashcupra 0 Posted May 5, 2008 Report Share Posted May 5, 2008 hey im kinda new here and thoght id share some pictures of my project ive had it 8 months and it was a MESS! rust holes birds nest wiring nothing worked really and was fit for the scrap yard imoso 8 months of bodywork engine swapping and new looms all round and a HELL of alot more HARD WORK and she looks like this with arond 2 months of project left i predictdoes every mk2 vr6 need the bonet frame shaving as my engine seem to foul on the front and bonnet wont close ive got a mk2 vr6 vibra technics engine mount aswel?? any help wold be ace!thanks for looking Link to post Share on other sites

rashcupra 0 Posted May 13, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 13, 2008 havent updated for a while with pics so here is the progress that has been donethe intererior is all in floor carpets trimse ect and front seats are FINALLY FITTED they were a BITCH! but theyre in and they look spot on!dash is fitted! steering collum gave me some problems so had to dismantle the colloum re assemble and re fitted it and it went straight in! smarted up the engine bay some more cleaning all the grimey bits and fitted the strut braceas i lowered the car more the exhaust rattled BADLEY on the axle but ive sorted that also resprayed thesideskirts arches and bumper tops LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER!here are some pictures.p.s this hasnt been cleaned for the pics!ive had to leave the fuse box part of the dash off as i need to do the electric windows and the central locking.not alot to dore do the red line around the grill fit the universal electric central locking and wire up the sound system.OH SO CLOSE Link to post Share on other sites
