franchise 1
Hey guys. I've done some searching about and found that my problem looks like the coolant temp sensor (coolant guage shot up, dropped down and now doesn't work...and then it does, ish). My garage man (over the phone) said it sounds like a coolant sensor issue but there are a few different ones.Aftyer speaking to GSF they said they have loads of different ones, colours, pin numbers etc so I really need to know which one it is. Someone mentioned the blue on in a post but not sure how helpful that will be.Short of arsing about driving to the garage this afternon and doing a lot of toing and froing whilst I'm at work doesn anyone knwo roughly which sensor it is likely to be? Taht way I can order it, go to the garage on the way home and get it sorted in one manouevre.Cheers guys.
cav 0
ok... the is 2 different types... 4 pin for the ecu - located on the left of the bank of sensors2 pin - for the dials - middleanother 2 pin on the right is for air con. it is the middle 2pin one you need for the gauges. There will be a part number on the actual sensor.
