Rimzzzzz please ;-)

Bet that looks hard as nails with the borbs on. You tried getting some poorboys wheel sealant from elite car care? Got it on my polished S2 rims and all the crap just wipes off, well nice stuff. Coats like a wax but doesn't show up. Nice ride brother.

results.

just before ultimate dubs something like this happens.

CIMG0566.jpg

to put it simple, wheel bolts loosened, when fell off, one corner drops, i hear the spacer drop to the road.

get out to take a look ....... :o followed by (w) and wheel is under arch.

its cracked the fibreglass arch severely and a bit on front bumper.

wheel is Fecked and gunna get the hub assessed.

what annoys me most is that it was a school boy error not to have checked the bolts. when i first heard the noise i somehow always miss the simplest things. i thought it was the drive shaft or something. confused to why they have come loose now tho since having the borbets on i've been to rolling road and in and out of town.

:-| ooooops, hub adaptors/spacers are notorious for coming loose, you need to check the torque regularly, all that time spent on the rollers has possibly made them un seat? its down to heat and movement

it dont look too bad condiering what happened to Tony (cabrioman) when some chopper at a tyre fitting bay left his wheel nuts loose!
