I have always loved VR6s and Mk2s, As ive been seeing more and more in mk.2s with them in mags i was contemplating the possibilty, I no this question must have been asked loadsa times! How do you go about fitting them?! Wondered if you had any info on what you have to do to a standard Mk.2 (1.3 / 1990) To begin to fit, a VR6. How much would it cost in total? Macca 1 Posted September 6, 2004 Report Share Posted September 6, 2004 Youre lucky cos youve got a 1990 car, the wiring is dead easy apparently, just plugs straight in. Theres a lot of info on the net about the conversion. the futrell works site is a good place to start. A company would charge about 2500-3000 quid i think.
