here's some pics from my second lap...

supected h/g again at first, but having got the car back today (and damaged!), it appears to be the damaged aux coolant pump.

i'm very anti-cars at the mo...hence me not being around much. i'm just gonna put it in the garage for a few weeks till i've calmed down or i'll burn it.

v bad luck m8, did you by any chance have steam and water p*ssing out by the aux water pump which made you think the h/g had gone. I had this last year, the pumps are a bit of a weak point I think, as on mine the casing had split right open, on the new one (£67ish iirc) the case was modified and had nuts and bolts holding the whole thing together, just a thought... How was the car on the laps that you did get round ok?

there was steam coming out of absolutly everywhere!

its typical...had driven all the way there on safe mode (got probs with the hall sender), and then something unrelated breaks.

it was rediculously wet, foggy (went over the pflanzgarten 'jump' with ten feet visability!), and slippy (seriously down on power, taking it very easy, and still had understeer at adenauer forst).

decided when i go back next toime i'm gonna fly and hire an audi TT (you can hire decent stuff in germany)...will cost the same as driving over there...plus you don't have to drive through the sh*thole that is france.

I'll donate my bimmer to that one as well, You nip off to Threshers n'get the beers, I'll get the Barbie and matches and we can sit back n' watch them go!!

My Electric seat decided to wait until far far away in Newcastle (without tools!!) today, to recline and return askew!!!! &| the Journey back was embarassing and uncomfortable to say the least..... driving with a twist, looking like Quasimodo .... Now I've got Two cars needing TLC and both are sh*t repairs.... ~ Grrrrrrr never rains but it pours....
