Swapping Standard Exhaust Manifold for Raceland Stainless

Another quick question for you guys! When I finally get around to swapping over my exhaust manifold I'll replace the gaskets at the same time but should I be using any form of exhaust sealnt aswell or just the gaskets on their own?? Bit of a daft question but one that has been going through my head!

no just use the gaskets mate hope all those exhausts bolts come out in one piece

LOL! I've started this afternoon and no they aren't going to come quitely as currently they are pulling out the threads and allsorts!! I think I can get away with using some long bolts as there seems to be thread left but if not then I'll use something like chemical metal to refit the lugs.

was jus going say that i have heard that if u dont heat wrap em the crack at the weldes easyly

Yep got heat wrap and starting to wrap it but fitting will have to wait until the weekend as it starts to get dark by the time I get home

are these worth fitting how much bhp can you gain with them?

different opinions with them some say you get better top end but lower mid range torque.

Mr Wookie have you uprated your engine mounts??
