Would anyone be able to reccommend a place to get it checked out in the North west or Liverpool area. Also would you be able to tell me when or how often a Timing belt needs changed?? dwa1974 0 Posted October 13, 2007 Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 The vr6 has timing chains not a belt. they are supposed to be a none service item but on a high miler it would be worth having this done along with the clutch. Expect to pay anything from £500 to £1500 depending where you are and where you go to have it done. Get it checked first though Link to post Share on other sites
