Geastb 0
My drivers side front caliper seems to be sticking (more brake dust, far more worn pad than passenger side and lots of squeeking!!) how do i free the caliper? Any advice would be helpful)
mark@vagworx 0
A large club hammer! Best thing to do is take it off and check the seals to the piston etc. Try re-lubing them. If not then it's a replacement caliper i reckon

Or would i need to modify?Anyone got any for sale? either 312mm or 323mm?You'd need the mounting carriers for the calipers' date=' but apart from that should go on a treat The 312's went on the Audi TT, Mk 4 Golf Anni, Skoda Octavia vRS, Seat Leon Cupra. The Cupra R was fitted with 323mm Brembo's.Have a look on www.ukmkivs.net or www.seatenthusiasts.co.uk or www.briskoda.net People are always upgrading the bigger brakes [ Edited Thu Aug 12 2004, 02:40PM ]

VRmonster 1
so do all of these have the same hub size etc? hence i could just get the carrier, and put it on? how do i know if its gonna need a spacer or not? and would i need the 288mm disc caliper (later vr6)? or the caliper from the car im stealing the brakes from, as i have 280mm disc calipers (earlier vr6)
acf8181 0
the 312's use the 288 calipers...with 312mm carriers spacered out.
