xyber 1
Has anyone every had a go at fitting an atmos dump valve on their vf charger kit?
mightyvr6 0
Don't think you can as it would cause stalling.
xyber 1
Thats what i thought, but ive heard some people have, then got thinking about a hybrid valve like forge splitter, its 90%recirc 10% atmos. Forge say it probably wouldnt work properly so I was thinking about trying it and if it didnt work just setting it to full recirc
cadguy77 0
the only people i know who ran atmos dumps are those on MAFless setups. If you still have the MAF forget it and stick with a quaility recirc. with a heavy spring (i run a blue spring in my forge, runs like a dream)
Rikki 2
I put a valve on mine although not vf charger mines a z-engineering. Made the car sound different and only made a noise(if thats what your after) on overrun it hissed sounded quite good but i think i was loosing boost as on boost it may have been pushing the valve open. Ive taken it off till i hook my boost gauge up. I will update you when i sort it.
