kalv 0
I am looking into getting the black leather in my highline re-trimmed.. and have had some quotes from £1175 to £1080. This includes front/back seats.. headrests and all door cards. Sound like a good price? One company has even offered to add some 'embroidery' to the front seats free of charge - what you reckon.. "VR6" or something like.. "Recaro"...? They can also do my head-lining to match what colour I go for? Tempted, but they need the car for a week...? Anyone else had this done? Car has done 106K and seats showing signs of wear but no damage?
bulldog 2
I wouldn't bother myself as leather that is a bit worn looks better IMO new seats always look to plasticy and need to be worn a bit to look good, I'd spend your money on something else for your car like some mega wheels. If you go ahead and get it recovered I'd go for RECARO in the seats rather than VR6.Mark. kalv 0
Didn't consider the 'look/feel' of new leather... hhmm...?As for wheels, i can't find anything that will fit behind the brakes...
SankysVR6 1
Are the front seats standard at the momment? If they are i would try and source some standard Recaro seats for the MK3 and have them re-trimmed in leather.Or some Reacro front seats out of a RS Turbo.
richievr 1
do it mate if you want to - fresh leather is awesome!!! it stinks everytime you open the door as sanky says though - get some recaros and get them trimmed, they are soo much more comfortable....you COULD get the colour changed whilst you are there??[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1183723991_594_FT182941_interior_14.jpg][/lightbox][lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1183723991_594_FT182941_interior_11.jpg][/lightbox]that is a pretty good price too i reckon....... kalv 0
I am going to them done in Red.. will contrast against my black VR!I would like to get a set of front Recaro's.. but then that's more outlay in cash.. and £1000+ is already enough.. I'd rather sacrifice the comfort and make it look good instead... something like this below (I know they are recaro's):[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1183726967_4477_FT182941_red_leather1.jpg][/lightbox]

SankysVR6 1
I'[m not sure,It's just that i've seen them in the MK2's so i think it would be adapting the subframes or something.I will be spaeking with MJ Interiors so will see what he has to say and get back to you
