Flexible (Induction) Piping Supplier?

Recommended Posts

The VR6 intake is 3 inches or 76mm

http://www.flexiblehose.co.uk/superelastic.htm

looks OK but not entirely sure about the use of PVC in a car intake system. I'm sure I've seen something about it messing the car up....

Also, http://www.flexiblehose.co.uk/unielastic.htm looks like it might be OK.

Both these have the Automotive symbol at the top of the pages...

Im talking about the cold air feed going into the filter though rather than the other side and I think thats bigger than 3" on the bmc... do you think the one Ive mentioned would be suitable for that or not durable enough? Im after maximum flexibility really

maybe 2 group buys are in order?

background: I'm trying to put my MAF infront of the supercharger to make it pull through instead of blow through. The above setup worked a treat - car ran 100% - but the pipes rusted so I had to remove them. Couldnt find 3inch stainless at the time.

Main problem is that I have to have the MAF quite far away infront of the charger (as you can see) otherwise the car runs rich. I'm thinking flexihose might solve this and allow me to stuff it in the drivers wheel arch space.
