billy111 0
What is a reasonable charge to have a sports suspension fitted? I have bought a Pi kit (35mm) non-adjustable. I have been quoted from £270 - £400 to have it fitted, which I think is too high. I was budgeting on £150-180 (including wheel alignment etc). Also can anyone recommend a good garage in the cambridgeshire/suffolk area?
kalv 0
It's the labour thats going to roger you.. me and my old man replaced mine with uprated ones and took us about 2.5/3 hours.. garage will take about 4 minimum (tea break/chit-chat/etc..)... even on £45/hour labour (which is a good rate)... your looking around £180.. could get it cheaper if paying by cash?I paid around £35 for 4-wheel laser alignment with camber/toe adjustment... so you total will be over the £200 mark! xyber 1
Yep i did mine easily enough, if you do, give the nut on top of each turret a good soak in WD40 the night b4 as they can be abit tight and rustedAlso replace all bump stops, bushes and bearings whilst its out, only a couple quid from GSF and worth it in the long run, also get the suspension adjustments done at a garage straight away after or it'll eat the tyres well quickly
