Ciaran 4 Posted February 27, 2007 Report Share Posted February 27, 2007 came up with code 668????????when i turn the ignition on the car does not even prime and a bad earth on all the sensors connected to the ECU.where is the ECU earth connected to??now that i have cleared the fault code none have re-appeared.also when i checked the coil pack it is giving a reading if 2200 ohms and it should be between 2400-2600 according to the book i have.car has now been broken for 2 weeks and i have made my mind up to sell it once it goes due to persistant problems Link to post Share on other sites

VR6Rich 3 Posted March 1, 2007 Report Share Posted March 1, 2007 Terminal 30 is refered to in Bentley as "Battery positive voltage whenever battery is connected", so its literally the whole circuit from bettery positive! Doesnt help much does it!The ECU earth is just connected through the wiring harness for the ECU. Havnt completely sussed out the wiring diagrams in the back of Bentley yet but will have another look tomorrow. Link to post Share on other sites

purple highline monster 0 Posted March 5, 2007 Report Share Posted March 5, 2007 dunno mate, if its been chopped about thats the first place i would get checked, you can use a multi meter to see if power is at the "switch" or button in this case, get an auto electrician to check it, wiring is notoriously hard to pin point, it could be a break or burnt wire somewhere on your ignition side, sorry i cant help more but without the car in front of me its a tough one Link to post Share on other sites
