right ive replaced the switch panel on the front, and the heater resistor, it blows hot for the first 30-40 secs then luke warm then back to cold, anymore idea's , as it very cold in me car????

whats temp gauge doin mate? could be matrix

sounds like a blocked heater matrix to me. you could try flushing it through with a hose pipe but it can somtimes corse leaks

temp gauge is fine, bang on half way.. as it always been.

im gonna flush the matrix tommmorrow, unless there is any bleed nipples in the system to save me taking all the pipes off.

id say blow it through mate,then u know

just go real carefull iv seen in the past nackered matrix's blow apart under high pressure so start off gentle

I believe if you look under the bonnet, you should see a silver lining on your bulk firewall.

If you look closely they have little flaps in them, somewhere in the middle. I have been told that these are bleed nipples and can become blocked. I am going to have a look at mine as I have a misting problems which is not going away....

Might be worth a shot for you :-)

there are indeed two flaps, one above and one below, i cant get them up at the mo, so will have a look when i get a chance, they are to the left of where the pipes enter, so its feasible that that were the matrix is.
