[moved] Too many wires to push the stereo back

I have tons of cables behind the stereo for amps and carkit etc, is there a way of creating more room or is there a way of fitting the stereo which will make it easier to tuck in the wires?

Not too sure mate just dont force it else you could strip a wire on the way back and cause a fire ect!

I had this problem as well. I ended up undoing the dash panel where the heater vents are. This allows you to take out the plastic 'hole' which your cage fits in. I hacksawed bits of the plastic cage to get a bit more room for the wires to go.

I had this problem also but managed to push the wires down the hole at the back on the left hand side, (where the wires come up from), its tricky but just keep trying and dont force it.

i also pushed the wires bak to left side, tooka bit of messing maybe use a screw driver to hold the wires leftward wile pushing it back in

Ok the easier way is to remove ya glove box and this will give you access to the space on the left hand side of the dash then when you start to feed all you cables into the dash you can reach them from the access space you have just created. This means you can safely pull the cables through and allow you to fit your stereo without risking pinching a wire.

Guys, cheers for the advice so far, i think i'll cut the back bit out of the cage and remove the glove box to pull them through.
