gav_113 0
could have a leaking door seal? hole in the floor? or even a fucked heater matrix? i would take the carpet up, dry the floor, and check to c where the water is coming from?
Crasher 0
Usually this is the heater air inlet ducting leaking around its base and is quite easy to fix once you have it stripped down. The new gasket is 1H0 819 166 and costs £2.89 inc. VAT from VW. Also, a poorly fitted or cracked scuttle trim can allow water to poor into the pollen filter.
baz8328 0
i have removed the scuttle panel to fit single wiper mechanism . could this cause the carpet behind the passenger seat to become wet

jezmoz 0
I have the same problem the footwell behind the passenger seat in the rear, i think it's coming down the b pillar from the sunroof??
jezmoz 0
and there is no water in the front of the car just the rear footwell so it must be coming in that area , either door membrane door seals or sun roof , i think it's the latter as I saw a bead of water run out of the b pillar directly above the footwell.
