Earwig 89
Ok I have got a Fully smoothed front bumper now.No holes in it atall apart from the centre part....I am now on the lookout for a lower spoiler to attach to the underside of it. But I am not sure wether to go for the Deep black spoiler (Which Most have !) Or go for something different.I know there is a smaller item that looks good color coded but I have scoured all sites I can think of but can only find Cup Diffusers !Does anyone have any pics of what they have fitted or can anyone suggest some ideas. ?Thanks for all the help and advise that I know will be forthcoming ! :-)Mark. binliner 0
you want one of these... acrtually I like the standard shallow ones with a smooth bumper but the car needs to be low
Earwig 89
I like the shallow ones also but like you say you need to be real low to pull it off.I can't go Toooo low as the car needs to be driveable most days....Probably looking to go about 70mm in total....Is the one on your old Syncro the Deep spoiler but color coded ? jezmoz 0
looks like a votex to me
stockers 1
yeah that is a votex, sorry to say you have more of a chance of growing ovaries and giving birth than finding one of thosei have looked into having a custom made one, but the amount of times my spoiler gets caught on humps and gets ripped off it would be too painful financially
jims13 6
what about cl models, is theirs any smaller?? always was on the old mk2's??? maybe a idea, easy enough to check to.
binliner 0
there was only 2 splitters on the mk3 the deep early VR one everything else had the slim one... 3 if if you include the american one which is like the vento splitter that warren has
stockers 1
there are some after market ones from ABT and a few others and i think richie has one from a toledo.....
Earwig 89
See speed ramps could well be the deciding factor here. I have to go over 3 on the way to work with no other route available :-(Think I may end up going with the Deep spoiler but get it color coded and see how I go with that. My bodyshop still has some left over paint from previous so I may as well make a bit of use for it.The whole car is now pretty much color coded and smoothed so I want to do away with any black plastic.....Mark. stockers 1
mmmm.....i think the deep ones look a little odd painted, but thats just my opinion. if it looks poop you can always get a cheap replacement from egay
rodney 17
There are a few on Ebay at the mo and an alternate for a few more of your hard earned sheckles
Earwig 89
Well I got the bumper back now and it's looking sweet !Can't wait to get it on now :-)Think I am going to go for a regualr deep spoiler. That way when it get's ripped off it's not so costly to me to replace !Mark.

jezmoz 0
deep spoliers are tough as old boots if you get em from vag or gpc, mine takes some right hammer, i live in speed bump hell and i'm running pretty low
jims13 6
why not retro fit one from a mk2 cl, nice and thin.i mean hen i had my mk2 , the thing to do was fit one from a mk3, so it must be possible , or even worth a trip to the scrappy to get a cheap one and measure it up.????jim

VR6Rich 3
The Vento splitter looks really nice on Warrens car but is smaller so would need to be low to pull it off.
