jims13 6
hi ho, me clutch has started to slip, weird thing is , its mainly when cold and even then only very slightly, but as its being used by the wife as a daily driver at the mo, then i think i need to price a clutch up... how many hours to change one???also anything i can try before i have it changed??? is it worth bleeding the fluid and/or changing it?cheers jim
gav_113 0
stick the car in 4th and try pulling away if the clutch slips then its fucked. not sure bout bleeding the system or really how it works tbh?
mk3anni 0
4-4.5hrs Labour.Clutch is anything from £90 upwards.Bleeding the system wont solve anything, the hydrolic system is used to disengage the clutch, the pressure plate engages it.

Earwig 89
I need a clutch to ever since the last visit to the pod :-(It's not noticeably slipping but it always smells real bad after I use it so I guess it must be.ALready had a clutch not so long ago so I guess 1/4 miles really do take it out of them lol.Mark.
