bigleem 0 Posted May 5, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2007 Your so eger MkVRr6dreamer!!!!!!i wil post a pic of the wheels soon hope you'll like them?They have been powder coated black then metalic put in the lacquer with a touch of sivler paint!!!!!!!!! look like a really dark grey in some light and then met black in others???I love them can't wait to get them on the car,but i keep thinking they will be a waste on my car when i build them up,but having the outer rims machined down so they don't take the powder coat off when i put them on. But been thinking of buying some 2" outer for the rears???????? i guess they can wait for now, so the 71/2 will do for now Link to post Share on other sites

Went to awesome gti for a rolling road day good day lots of cars there and golf+ mag!!!!!!!!!Well i got some polished door handle inserts through the post the other day and had a think about what i could do with them this is how the standard ones look abit crap really[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1179703865_4681_FT142478_dsc00284.jpg][/lightbox]so in went the polished ones after a bit of think of what i could do with them and this is what i came up with[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1179704011_4681_FT142478_dsc00282.jpg][/lightbox]Got are kid to do them at work, engraved them then filled with black ink.It's the only thing on the car that is going to say what it is. I thought it was time for something with 4wd and turbo and bigger power (audi S2 with big turbo)I wished you'd a seen it cause you helped me with it in a way you egged me on so i got things done and you'd been there from the start cheers buddy I paid £2350 for it but have spent a small fortune on it in the last year i'd say i have about £4250 ish in it but a got £3500 for it which i'm happy with but the new speakers/sub and amps are going with it but thats the deal i got and i'm happy.I hope people agree that' date=' that was a fair price for it???????? It looks a lot better in the flesh :-p I will miss it as it looks so good and people stop in the street to look at it since i put the bbs back onOne more for you all[lightbox=../../e107_files/public/1185827741_4681_FT142478_dsc00344.jpg'][/lightbox]Fair does matey , going up and on it would of VAG material i see imo 3.5k is more and less spot on *(if only i had 3.5k)* . its shame really that modified cars 'de value' (if thats the correct way to word it) so much , in comparison to how much is spent on them in money , blood , sweat and tears , which is why it always seems to feel like your near enough giving your car away come sale time.Its all worth it in the end tho...its been a pleasure seeing the project from start too finish and Edging it on , tho at times could be more aptly named my impatience rather than edging lolyou've gotta get some pics posted up of this S2!! plus a sneaky pic of the big turbo Cyas around & Take it easy .Liam.
