Pete.sVR6 0
Can somebody tell me how many horns a VR6 should have?, (i.e Single or Twin), as VW tell me it should have two, however I seem to only have one (they said they should be together) mine is situated behind the mesh grill underneath the drivers side Fog/Indicator unit. jcorallo 0
there are two, and they are not situated next to each other either - I'd say they is about 12inches between my two horns - pfnarr pfnarr.Jules

Pete.sVR6 0
Seriously for a moment, this is bugging the F**k out of me and I need to know what other people have got, VW are reluctant to shed any light on the situation and I don't have a manual, if two should be there do they fit on the same bracket or are they seperated?Cheers. jcorallo 0
there are two horns, both on the offside (the drivers side). One faces forward in the direction of travel and is just behind the little grill at the front - the other faces to the right and is set back, about 12inches away, and is nearer to the road wheel.Jules

Pete.sVR6 0
Have now located the second horn, I think the problem is with the one behind the front bumper, next question is VW tell me there are two types, either flat or trumpet, are the flat type fairly loud when both are working?
