Not sure if this helps, but the mk4 4mo box mounts up but the hangers are round the wrong way.

You need to then either make new brackets or buy then from dutch dubs

Would have thought the r32 box was quite similar if not the same.

gotta take into account the take off for the diff and transfer box though, surely it would be cheaper to go to Quaife and have a vr box modded to 6 speed? costs about 1500 and the agro is all theres! the gearing on an R32 will be totally different anyway, probably make the VR slower??

The R32 box bolts straight to a VR6 as the 6 clylinder blocks are the same. But a 6 cylinder box won't go onto a 4 cylinder engine and vice versa.

i would find a 1.8t 180hp gear box they should fitt

with out too much problems like the r32 one,don´t the diesel one your car vill drive like shit with the tdi one,even with turbo it will bee crap.
