jaysVR6 2 Posted August 5, 2006 Report Share Posted August 5, 2006 I'd say it probably has something to do with the fact that they cost a fortune and you will probably see around 15 miles to the gallon! You need to do alot of work to the engine for the throttle bodies to be a real benefit. Cams, head work etc. to see power that is even anything like comparible to a turbo charger. dubloke 4 Posted August 6, 2006 Report Share Posted August 6, 2006 yeah, thats gareths! a grant motorsport production! 50 miles to a tenner is about right for average driving tbh, given that fuel prices mean thats only 2 gallons of fuel and 25mpg is a reasonable average for day to day driving in all conditions!
