Peugeot has introduced a new limited-run special edition of the hugely popular, 208 hatchback. Called 208 XS, the model brings an additional trim level to the already extensive range and will be available exclusively in the UK. Volvo Cars and Polestar have announced the launch of the new 367hp Polestar S60 sedan and V60 estate. For the 2017 model year, both cars have swapped the previous 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine for a specially-enhanced version of Volvo’s Drive-E 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit. Although this may seem like a downgrade, the cars actually now deliver more power. This has been achieved thanks to the a bigger turbo, a supercharger, new camshafts, new conrods, a larger air intake, and a higher capacity fuel pump. Tesla has revealed its long anticipated electric car, the Model 3, an attractive 5-seater with decent range and a low price at its Los Angeles facility. Munich-based tuner GeigerCars has introduced the new Geiger Mustang GT 820. Typically, the latest Ford Mustang GT features a 5.0-litre V8 Coyote engine that packs 435 hp and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque. However, GeigerCars have equipped that unit with a 2.9-liter supercharger, a fine-balanced crankshaft, forged pistons and steel connecting rods boosting the power output to huge 820 hp (603 kW) at 7.300 rpm and 560 pound-feet (759 Nm) of torque at 6.500 rpm. Japanese aftermarket specialist DAMD previews its new aggressive body kit for the Mazda 2 (in Japan known as Demio) and CX-3. Both cars are equipped with the same components, including a set of bespoke skirts with a black finish and a new rear bumper with diffuser. Volvo has revealed the price for the XC90 Excellence, the ultra-luxurious variant of the award-winning XC90. Showcased in U.S for the first time at the New York International Auto Show last week, the XC90 Excellence offers a level of of luxury and comfort not previously seen in the company’s offerings. The Blue Oval has revealed an MVP edition F-150 pickup in honor of the Kansas City Royals 2015 World Series Championship. The Shropshire-based company Severn Valley Motorsport (SVM) looking to build GT-R engined Nissan Navara NP300 pick-up. This a development concept that has been styled up for a customer. Severn Valley won’t actually build one, but if you are willing to spend around £175,000 the company says it will build you a brutal GT-R engined Nissan Navara pick-up. Hennessey Performance has created another beautiful Ford Mustang. The car has been equipped with Hennessey’s new Carbon Fiber Aero package along with HPE750 package. The package adds a carbon fiber front splitter, rear lip spoiler, side sills and lightweight custom Hennessey H10 wheels.
