    Cars that arnt driven! I don't have a particular hate for anything as each for there own... But trailering your car to a field to polish it doesn't make sense.     I'm running Ap's on my mk2 vr can't fault them for the cost and comfort levels are lush in comparison to the eBay specials If I was being picky then under hard driving they feel a little soggy could do with a little more bound/re bound rating, but you get what you pay for.     Change the lot ) Chains stretch over time(depending on servicing and oil quality that time can be less or more) this leads to tensioners being at the limit of there travel and/or the tensioners age and don't hold suffice oil pressure to keep the chain under tension. Both will lead to the chain slapping about and damaging the guides. Not normally the guides themselves that started the noise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What were the reasons for being advised away from poly? Just curious I'm running them and have fitted and driven a few on the vag platforms Removal~ I burn the rubber out then cut a small incision into the outer sleeve and fold it in on itself, just falls out of the axle then. Installation~ ensure the axle is cleaned up prior. poly are nice and easy to fit just slot in by hand with a bit of rubber grease. OE spec stuff you'll be needing to borrow the installation tool to press it in without damaging it, they're an oddball shape to be making things for Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    From memory the systems use the headlamp flasher/main stalk as relay pull plug off stalk switch lamps on and bridge the white with black trace to yellow(dipped beams should come on) then bridge same to white mains should illuminate if so then your stalk is faulty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Depends on the reason for the swap? Easiest bet would be just fitting the block and head running your original management(coil pack, sensors, throttle body etc etc) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
