  1. Never trust a oil light. Put a gauge on it. It could be one of two things going on. Most likely it is the oil pressure switch located on top of the oil filter housing. They do go bad once in a while and when the light comes on it cuts out your fuel pump to protect the motor from people that ignore dash lights. Option two, oil pump. It could be worn out and not producing enough pressure at idle. Option three. Clogged oil pump pick up tube or screen .Its not that hard to pull the oil pan and check. How many miles do you have on the motor ,and how many since the turbo install? Sent from my iPad
