Finally fixed it.. What I done was take the clocks out and got my nephew to put his hands in and plug it in. So much easier with smaller hands

Thanks for you help mate. I think I have found the issue. One of the pipes leading of the sunroof drain was blocked to I disconnected the pipe and got covered in water.. I tried to blow down the pipe and it seemed blocked so pulled on the pipe and i think it's come out of the grommet in the pillar. Does anyone know how to rectify this

Exactly.. That's my way of thinking.. Even though I know I'm going to be spending the money on the car regardless if it's for aesthetics or performance gains but with me it's Sod's law il go and buy it and a few weeks later il see the same thing but cheaper. Does my nut in!

I think they would look if you can find a set at a decent price.

Little update??? That's a fair bit of work taking into consideration of the rubbish weather

Evening all, I've noticed that my footwell is getting wet, my first instinct was that there's some leaves stuck under the scuttle tray. I've taken the scuttle out and cleaned up so there's no leaves and I can't see any grommets for me to unblock.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Afternoon all, I've got a 312mm setup already on the VR, Im looking at purchasing a set of brembos. A few questions can I run these on the 312 disks and were can I get carriers made as I can only find ones for mk2/4.
Thanks

Yeah course bud il take a few fresh pics for you in the morning. At the end of the day it's a VR and we all bought one for one main reason and that's the sound of it. When i put my foot down it sounds really good you get the roar of the VR without being too loud meaning that you can still have a civilised conversation with the passengers, I've had loads of different brands But I can honestly say that I'm really pleased with the sound and performance gains which I've had the the jettex. I'm sure you know that the jettex is a 2.75" in pipe diameter which I found works perfectly with my Charger as it breathes better but I know some people may argue that you get better torque figures with a 2.5" system but each to their own, I'm not out there to knock other brands I can only go on my own experiences. So far I can't complain, I would like to try a milltek system but I can justify paying their price tag when I'm completely satisfied with my current setup.

I've got a resonated jettex on mine and it's really quiet on the motorway. I prefer the sound I my mates non resonated jettex but the resonators makes me seem a little but more grown up. I'd go down the twin route allll day long still need to finish polishing the tips.

I had H&R ARBs on my old golf (front and rear) poly bushed the front wishbones and I can honestly say it was the best handling golf I've ever owned
