What got you into Dubs?: Buying a certain very cheap VR6 and seeing quite a well known immaculate Red Golf Rallye at Players a couple of years back and thinking I could do that!
Best feature on your car?: Got to say the paint after all of the hours I put into it.
Future modifications?: Get the new engine and gearbox with Quaiffe diff I've got laying around fitted and get it mapped properly.
Favourite other member's car? I don't know a massive amount about it but deckedvr's car looks pretty special.

8x16 Compomotive TH Monos painted fiat stradas gold, or the new 8x17 BBS Avantgarde Design S wheels, H&R coilovers, polybushed rear beam and front arms, 312mm front brakes drilled discs all round and braided hoses dot5.1 fluid. Soon to be 280mm eurospec rear brake conversion.
Schrick inlet, Rotrex Supercharger, Supersprint manifold, miltek centre and decat, eisenmann rear box, vibratecnics rear mounts powerflex front mount and a reinforced sump, 320lph fuel pump with red top injectors, forge recirc valve.

Your experience of the car(ups and downs)
Won on eBay as a late night stupid bid I was actually on the look out for an RS turbo of some sort for a project but they were all rotten and £2000 (please don't hate me for this!) so I put a cheeky bid in on this (it was listed as spares or repairs or a donor car) and won it, I quickly realised it was a really genuine full service history albeit rough around the edges car that had gone a bit to far for the previous owner of nearly 10 years to keep up with. I thought I'd tidy it up and use it...... but things have got out hand! Getting the charger on there annoyed me a lot, thought on more than one occasion about leaving it standard, other than that it's been great! I love the fact I've turned something that was pretty close to ending up in a scrap yard into something that turns a lot of heads that lots of people love!
Lukey beat me to it, as long as the replacement is obd 2 it will drop straight in. Have you thought about doing some preventative maintenance whilst the engines out?
